Bring the tempo yourself

Talk quicker than is comfortable and keep sentences short. A sped-up track never lingers.
Smile while you speak and end lines on an upward note. The treble lift rewards a bright delivery.
Skip the long pauses and breaths between phrases, or the illusion of a fast playback breaks.
If you sing, pick something upbeat and sing it slightly ahead of the beat.

Nightcore, chipmunk or helium

All three go up, by different amounts and in different ways. The chipmunk voice goes much further and is a cartoon. Helium leaves your note where it is and shrinks only the tone, so it sounds like you after a balloon. Nightcore sits between: clearly a person, clearly sped up. The Pitch +3 clip is a milder speed-up for lower starting voices that still want to sound natural, and Pitch +6 is halfway to a chipmunk.

Does it speed up my voice?

It raises pitch and tone the way a speed-up would, but your words keep their own timing. Speak faster and the result is very close to a sped-up clip.

Does the nightcore voice work in the Discord app or in games?

Not in the desktop app or in a game's own voice chat, which can't see Facecam Virtual Mic. Open the same Discord call at discord.com in Chrome and choose it as your microphone there.
