Soundboard for streaming
Facecam's soundboard can run inside OBS as a browser source, so its clips go straight into your stream mix for Twitch, YouTube or Kick without touching your mic.
Your browser will ask for microphone access when you click.
Set it up in OBS
01
Add a browser source
In OBS, in the Sources dock select + → Browser, and paste the soundboard URL. Width and height only matter if you want the pads visible on stream.
02
Keep it alive between scenes
In the source properties, turn off Shutdown source when not visible and Refresh browser when scene becomes active. Otherwise a scene change stops clips mid-play.
03
Send its audio to the mixer
Turn on Control audio via OBS so the soundboard gets its own fader in the Audio Mixer.
04
Hear it yourself
Open Edit → Advanced Audio Properties and set the soundboard source to Monitor and Output, so the clip plays in your headphones and on stream.
05
Play clips
Right-click the source → Interact to open a window where you can click the pads.
Tested by Facecam team. Facecam extension 2.1.0 (test build) in Chromium 153.0.8010.12 on macOS 26.5.1 (Apple silicon), with Chromium's built-in test camera and microphone, not signed in to any app. We opened streamyard.com, not a signed-in studio and checked from inside that page that its device list listed Facecam Virtual Mic and got sound from it. We didn't sign in or join a call there, so StreamYard's own menus in the steps come from StreamYard's help pages (see Sources).
If it doesn't work
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| Clips play twice | You're capturing desktop audio while monitoring. Set monitoring to Monitor Only for that source, or exclude it from Desktop Audio. |
| No fader for the soundboard | Control audio via OBS is off in the source's properties. |
| Clips stop when I switch scenes | Turn off Shutdown source when not visible, or put the source in every scene. |
More about OBS
Copyright on stream
Twitch's music rules allow your own music and music you're licensed to share. Playing recorded tracks you don't own can get past broadcasts muted, clips deleted and, with a DMCA notice, the stream disabled. Short memes and effects come from somewhere too; prefer clips you made or have a licence for.

Questions
Do I need a stream deck?
No. Interact works with a mouse. A hotkey or stream deck setup is optional.
Does it work in Streamlabs Desktop?
Streamlabs Desktop also has browser sources; the same idea applies, but these steps are written for OBS Studio.
