Small, old and trembling

The word order is your job

The effect changes the sound, not the grammar. Put the object or description first and finish on the subject and verb.
Speak from the back of your throat with your tongue pulled back, and add a short hum or grunt before a line.
Go slowly and stretch the vowel in the last word. The vibrato needs a held sound to be heard.
Use it for advice, riddles and gentle scolding. Shouting breaks the character.

Tremble off: small and croaky, but steady. Easier to follow over a long story or a whole call.
Pitch 0 with more croak (Tone +3, distortion 0.25): an older, wearier version, and the better start if your own voice is already high.
