Sound like a soldier who has done this before
- Speak firmly and fast, from the chest. Clone lines are confident orders and acknowledgements, not complaints.
- Address someone in every line: a rank, a unit, a general. It gives the comm a reason to exist.
- Push the first word of each sentence. The compressor levels the rest, so the stress at the front is what gets noticed.
- For battle scenes, load the Distortion 0.45 clip, which breaks up like a shout over blaster fire.
Clone trooper, stormtrooper or military radio?
The stormtrooper-style voice keeps your pitch and squeezes it into 450 Hz to 3.2 kHz with heavy crackle, so it sounds thin and anonymous. The clone version is two steps lower, lets more of the voice through and adds a touch of helmet reverb, so one person with a rank comes across. The military radio voice is modelled on a field radio, with no helmet in it. For a squad scene, put the officer on the clone voice and everyone else on the stormtrooper one.

Is it the clone voice from the films and animated series?
No. This is a sound-alike assembled from a pitch shift and comm effects. It contains no recordings from the films or the series.
Does it work in the Discord desktop app?
No, the desktop app can't see Facecam Virtual Mic. Open the same server at discord.com in Chrome and choose that mic under Voice & Video.
How do I get the helmet without the radio?
Use the third clip's settings: the band widens to 150 Hz–6 kHz, so the comm filter mostly disappears and the short reverb remains.
