Half the growl is yours
- The effect does not howl or snarl for you. Howl by sliding a long vowel upward and letting it fall; the distortion turns it ragged.
- Push words out between breaths, two or three at a time, as if speech is becoming difficult. Pant audibly in the gaps.
- Curl your lip and talk through bared teeth. It narrows the vowels into something canine.
- Lines about the moon, hunger or losing control land best when the final word collapses into a growl.

- Pitch -2, Tone -2, distortion 0.3: still mostly human. Use it for the start of a transformation scene or for long dialogue.
- Main clip: mid-change, with words still clear under the snarl. The everyday choice for roleplay and streams.
- Reverb 3 s at 30%: heard through the trees at night. Keep it for howls and distant calls; speech gets washed out.

Free werewolf voice changer FAQ
Can it make a wolf howl?
It will roughen and deepen a howl you perform, but it doesn't generate one. Hold a long vowel and slide the note up.
Does the werewolf voice work for tabletop games on Discord?
Yes, if the call runs at discord.com in Chrome with Facecam Virtual Mic chosen as input. From the Discord desktop app it isn't available.
How is this different from the monster voice?
The monster is lower and bigger with no breath in it. The werewolf keeps more of a human voice and adds panting through the Whisper slider.
My growl sounds like static. What do I change?
Lower Distortion toward 0.3, the value in the mostly-human clip, and back away from the mic a little.
