More about this voice

What makes it cold

PartSettingWhat you hear
DepthPitch -5, Tone -3Low and large, yet still someone who speaks in full sentences
EdgeDistortion 0.25, 40% mixed inA dark grain, never a growl
DoublingChorus 0.4 times a second, 30% mixA faint second voice, as if power hums under the words
ChamberReverb 20% mix, 1.8 s longA stone room of modest size, so speech stays crisp

Sound in charge

  • Speak quietly and precisely. Absolute power has no need to be loud; pronounce every consonant.
  • Put the stress on verbs of command and let the end of the sentence fall away, as if the outcome were already decided.
  • Use formal, slightly old-fashioned phrasing: decrees, verdicts, bargains with a catch. Monologues suit it better than banter.
  • Sit a forearm's length back from the mic so the 1.8-second room is heard around you.

Evil, villain or demon?

The villain preset this is built on is a smooth, theatrical human. The evil voice goes lower, adds more grain and brings in the chorus, so it sounds less like an actor and more like a ruler nobody has seen. The demon goes further again: far deeper, with a huge reverb, and no longer a person at all. Use this one for dark lords in tabletop campaigns, game-master narration and strategy-game roleplay. The second clip stretches the reverb to 3.5 s at 35%, from a throne room; the third adds Whisper 30%, the threat said quietly.

Free evil voice changer FAQ

Is the evil voice the same as the villain voice?

No. It starts from the villain preset but is lower (Pitch -5), rougher and doubled with a chorus.

Can I use it while streaming on Twitch?

Yes. In Twitch's browser-based streaming studio in Chrome, pick Facecam Virtual Mic as the audio source after starting the voice here.

Can I do an evil laugh with it?

Yes. Laugh slowly from the chest; the pitch drop and chorus deepen it. The throne-room clip gives the laugh a longer tail.
