What keeps it clean
Lowering a voice also drags breath and background noise down into a low rumble. The preset keeps quiet words loud enough to hear, and it mutes the mic between sentences so open-mic hiss doesn't turn into a low hum.
Mic tips for low voices
- Cheap headset mics lose bass, so the result can sound thin; a desk mic helps more than any setting.
- Back off a little from the mic. Close up, your mic adds bass of its own, and with the preset's bass boost it can boom.
- If laughs and shouts crackle, turn down your mic's input level rather than changing the preset.

Deep voice changer FAQ
Can I pick my own depth?
Yes. Move the Pitch slider after you pick the preset. That's how the -4 and -10 clips above were made.
Why does it sound muddy?
Usually your mic or room adds bass, and lowering the voice makes it worse. Move back a little, or set Pitch to -4.
Is there a deep voice generator for typed text?

Can I sound deep on Discord or Meet?
