Read it like a trailer

Write in fragments: a few words, a full stop, the next fragment. Trailer copy is made of short phrases, not sentences.
Pause a whole breath between phrases. That gap is where the music hit would go.
Lean on one word per phrase, usually the last, and let your voice fall on it. A rising ending sounds like a question, and trailers don't ask.
Get near the mic and speak quietly. The compressor supplies the loudness, and a low murmur sounds bigger than a shout.
