More about this voice

Narrating a video you'll upload

For recorded narration you don't need the live tool. Record your read, open the Online Voice Changer, choose Announcer, set Pitch to -1 and Reverb to 0, and download the WAV. Because the voice is your own performance, the pacing and emphasis stay exactly as you read them, which text-to-speech can't do.

Read like a narrator

  • Slow down by about a fifth and finish every word.
  • Drop your pitch at the end of sentences; rising endings sound unsure.
  • Stay close to the mic and speak quietly. The bass boost rewards a low, relaxed delivery.

Free narrator voice changer FAQ

Can it generate a narrator voice from text?

This page changes your own voice. To have text read aloud, use the Character Voice Generator and add the Announcer effect.

Can I use the result in YouTube videos?

Yes. It's your own voice with an effect on it; the download is yours to use.

Does it make a high voice sound like a deep narrator?

It lowers by one step. For a bigger change, use the trailer clip's settings or start from the Deep preset.
