What makes a voice sound older
- A wobble: a fast, shallow vibrato (5.5 times a second) like the slight unsteadiness of an older voice.
- Less body: bass below 200 Hz and treble above 6.5 kHz are cut, so the voice is thinner.
- A forward middle: a small boost at 1.8 kHz, the slightly reedy quality of age.
The old man voice has all three. The old lady voice keeps them and moves the pitch and tone up, so a lower voice ends up in an older woman's range.

Will it work on a voice that's already high?
Lower Pitch to +1 or 0. The tremble and thin band make it sound older without pushing the note too high.
Can I use it for a story or video?

Why does the tool show the Old Man preset?
The old lady voice is built from it. Reset brings back the plain Old Man preset.
