Built for long streams
A voice that sounds great for a 10-second clip can be tiring after two hours. The VTuber voice moves your voice less than the Girl or Anime presets, so it stays close to how you naturally speak, and a 3:1 compressor keeps laughs and quiet asides at a similar level, which viewers notice more than the effect itself.

Pick one and keep it. Viewers recognise a VTuber by voice as much as by model, so the same settings every stream matter more than the perfect sound.
Getting it onto your stream
The Facecam Virtual Mic only exists inside Chrome, so OBS can't pick it. Stream from a studio that runs in Chrome (StreamYard, Restream Studio and similar) and choose Facecam Virtual Mic there; for a VTuber model on top, the VTuber Maker runs in the same browser.

Is this an AI voice?
No. It reshapes your own voice on your computer, in real time. Your voice isn't sent anywhere.
Can I use it with VTube Studio?
VTube Studio animates your model; this changes your voice. They work side by side, but the voice has to reach your stream through a studio in Chrome, not OBS.
Does it work for male VTubers?
Yes: the lower clip above is Pitch -3 and Tone -1.5. Or start from the Male or Deep presets.
Is it free?
Yes. The voice effects run on your computer and never use credits.
