More about this voice

Charm before menace

Monsters growl; a vampire persuades. So this voice is only three steps down and keeps the size of the speaker almost human. The Villain preset's light grit stays, a chorus moving once every four seconds adds a faint second voice, and the long reverb says the room is large, old and empty.

The count at two distances

  • Close: reverb down to 10%. A murmur beside the listener; better for conversation and tabletop scenes.
  • Ancient: Pitch -6 and Tone -3. Heavier and older, for a master vampire or a narrator of the undead.

Deliver it

  • Never hurry. Long pauses read as confidence.
  • Keep your volume low and even; the compressor carries it.
  • Soften consonants and lengthen vowels a little, without pushing an accent.

Free vampire voice changer FAQ

Does it add an accent?

No. It changes pitch, tone and space. Any accent is your performance.

How is it different from the villain voice?

Villain is lower and drier. Vampire is lighter, with a slow shimmer and a much longer hall.

Can I use it in a Discord roleplay server?

Yes, on discord.com in Chrome with Facecam Virtual Mic as your input. Turn Discord's noise suppression off so the reverb isn't cut.
