Let the file skip

  • Speak in bursts of three or four words with hard stops between them. Each stop lets the 2.5-second tail show.
  • Hit t, k and p hard. At 5-bit they come out as clicks, which is the corrupted sound you're after.
  • Stay monotone and low in energy. Rage makes it a generic monster; boredom makes it wrong in the right way.
  • Stick to short taunts and countdowns. Whole paragraphs are lost at this level of crush.

2011X, Sonic.exe or 1x1x1x1?

All three are low and damaged. 2011X is the most digital: a 5-bit crusher and a robot drone, so it sounds like data going bad. Sonic.exe has a similar depth but adds a quick echo and a longer hall, a haunted cartridge rather than a broken one. 1x1x1x1 has no drone and a wide chorus, so it comes across as two cold voices in unison. If people need to understand you, the first variation here drops the crusher to 20% for a clearer signal. The distortion 0.6 variation at 70% mix goes the other way: the cartridge almost unreadable, on purpose.

Is this the in-game 2011X voice?

No, it's a sound-alike. Your own voice is pitched down and crushed; no Forsaken audio is used.

Can I use it while playing Forsaken on Roblox?

Not through Roblox voice chat, which has no access to the Facecam Virtual Mic. It works when your group talks on discord.com in a Chrome tab.

Why does a buzz keep going under my words?

That's the Robot slider: a 70 Hz tone mixed in at 25%. Lower it for a cleaner demon.
