Speak so the shift holds up

Start from the top of your comfortable range, not your lowest note. The slider then has less distance to cover and the result sounds less processed.
Let sentences rise and fall more than you usually would. A flat, monotone delivery is the one thing pitch can't fix.
Talk softly and near the mic instead of projecting. Pushing from the chest brings back the weight that Tone +3 just took out.
Keep laughs and coughs small. Sudden loud bursts are where a shifted voice is easiest to hear as shifted.

If the result sounds like a cartoon, Pitch is too high for your voice: come down one step at a time. If it sounds like a man speaking high, raise Tone by half a step before you touch Pitch again.

Will it sound like a real woman?

It lands in a female range and sounds smaller; how natural it is depends on your delivery and your starting voice. The Pitch +4 version is the hardest to spot because it changes the least.

Can I use it in a Discord call?

Yes, if you join from discord.com in Chrome: press Use this voice in calls, then pick Facecam Virtual Mic as the input device. The Discord desktop app can't see that microphone.

How is this different from the girl voice?

The girl voice page is one finished preset. This page is about the direction of travel and gives three sets of numbers for three kinds of starting voice.

Can I convert a recording instead of my live mic?
