Make it scarier, not just lower
- Talk slower than you think you need to. The reverb fills the gaps, and a slow demon is scarier than a fast one.
- Let lines end in a breath or a hiss. Breath goes through the effect too and comes out as a growl.
- Leave a pause before the punchline. With 2.5 seconds of reverb, the silence does half the work.
- If people can't follow you, try the Pitch -6 clip above: still demonic, much easier to understand.
Demon, monster or villain?
All three are low. The demon is about space: the reverb and the chorus make it sound like something speaking from somewhere else. The monster is about size and growl, close to the mic. The villain is a person: lower and smoother, but clearly human. Pick the demon for possession, ritual and horror roleplay, where the voice should feel unnatural.

Can I use the demon voice in Discord?
Yes, on discord.com in Chrome: press Use this voice in calls in the tool above, then choose Facecam Virtual Mic as your input in Discord's Voice & Video settings. Turn Discord's noise suppression off or the reverb tail gets cut.
Why does my voice keep sounding after I stop talking?
That's the 2.5-second reverb. Turn the Reverb slider down, or off as in the dry clip above, for a close, dry demon that stops when you do.
Is it free?
Yes. The demon voice runs on your own computer, so there's no account, no credits and no time limit.
Can I make a demon voice from text?
