More about this voice

Inside the animatronic's voice box

PartSettingWhat you hear
DepthPitch -6Half an octave down, with the tone following, so it sounds slowed rather than big
Voice boxBit crusher 7-bit at 11.0 kHz, 50% mixA cheap speaker chip chewing the edges of every word
MotorRobot 35 Hz buzz, 12% mixA low mechanical rattle under the voice
WearDistortion 0.25, 35% mixA little crackle on loud syllables
RoomReverb 15% mix, 0.8 s longA small party room after closing time

Speak like a machine on a timer

  • Say each line as if it were pre-recorded: same speed, same cheerfulness, no reaction to what the other person says.
  • Break sentences in odd places. The noise gate mutes the mic below -50 dB, so a clean stop between words sounds like the playback skipping.
  • Choose greetings and party-host lines. A friendly script in a broken voice is what makes these characters unsettling.
  • Stay about a hand from the mic. Close breathing crunches in the crusher and comes out as static.

Which clip for which night

The main clip is the everyday animatronic: understandable, clearly broken. The first variation raises the robot buzz to 35%, which puts the motor almost level with the words; use it for short lines and jump moments, not for explaining rules. The second turns the bit crusher off. What is left is the low, slowed voice with its buzz and small room, which holds up for a whole roleplay session or a narrated fan video. For a single named character, the Freddy Fazbear, Springtrap and Withered Bonnie pages each start from different settings.

Free FNAF voice changer FAQ

Which FNAF character is this voice?

None in particular. It's a general animatronic sound: low, slowed and crushed. Freddy Fazbear, Springtrap, Withered Bonnie, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy and Phone Guy have pages of their own.

Is this the official voice from the games?

No. It's a sound-alike built from pitch and effects, and it uses no audio from Five Nights at Freddy's.

Does it work in Roblox FNAF roleplay games?

Not inside Roblox itself, which is a desktop app and can't see the Facecam Virtual Mic. Run the group's voice call on discord.com in Chrome and use the voice there.

Can I use it for a fan animation?

Yes. Record or upload your lines in the Online Voice Changer, set the same sliders, and download the file for your edit.
