Give orders, not opinions

Remove all feeling from your delivery. Guards announce and instruct; they never plead, joke or raise their voice.
Use short, formal sentences: player numbers, time limits, rules, results. Read numbers out digit by digit, evenly.
Hold one note from the first word to the last. The robot buzz already sits on a fixed pitch, and a monotone blends with it instead of fighting it.
