How to sound wet and hungry

  • The effect can't add saliva. Make the wet sounds yourself: open your mouth wide, let the tongue click, and drag each s into a hiss.
  • Refer to yourself in the plural. Speaking as two creatures matches the doubled chorus.
  • Bite the consonants. Hit t, k and ch hard so the treble cut above 7 kHz doesn't swallow them.
  • Talk about food and appetite, and drop to a mutter when the creature is arguing with its host.

Venom, monster or werewolf?

The monster preset underneath is lower and growls harder; it's a beast with no personality. This version sets Pitch at -7 and brings in the 55% chorus, so there's a talking character with something else underneath. The werewolf voice is rougher and breathier, an animal straining to speak. To check what the chorus adds, play the second clip, where it is off: the creature alone, without the second voice. The third clip adds Whisper 30%, wet breath on every word, for close-up lines in a video.

Free Venom voice changer FAQ

Is this the real Venom voice from the films?

No. It's a style imitation built from a pitch drop, distortion and chorus, using nothing recorded from the films or games, and it isn't an official Marvel product.

Does it work in Fortnite or other game chat?

Game clients can't select Facecam Virtual Mic, since it lives in Chrome. Talk to your squad through a Discord call in a Chrome tab instead.

Why does my voice sound like two people?

That's the chorus at 55%. Turn the Chorus slider down for a single creature, as in the second clip.
