Free voice changer for Kick
Stream on Kick in a new voice without OBS: Kick's Web Go Live runs in Chrome and can use Facecam Virtual Mic. Free, no sign-up.
Your browser will ask for microphone access when you click.
Set it up in Kick
01
Open Web Go Live
On kick.com in Chrome, open the Creator Dashboard and press Go Live. The first time, Kick walks you through a short setup.
02
Allow the mic and select it
Give Kick microphone permission when Chrome asks. Then use the mic icon at the bottom of the studio to select the audio source and choose “Facecam Virtual Mic”.
03
Set the stream details
Use the pencil icon to set a title, category, language and rating. Kick warns that a stream without a title and category may not start properly.
04
Pick a voice and start
Choose the voice in the Facecam popup, check the level in Kick's audio controls, and go live.
Tested by Facecam team. Facecam extension 2.1.0 (test build) in Chromium 153.0.8010.12 on macOS 26.5.1 (Apple silicon), with Chromium's built-in test camera and microphone, not signed in to any app. We opened kick.com, not the signed-in Creator Dashboard and checked from inside that page that its device list listed Facecam Virtual Mic and got sound from it. We didn't sign in or join a call there, so Kick's own menus in the steps come from Kick's help pages (see Sources).
If it doesn't work
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The mic icon doesn't list Facecam Virtual Mic | Reload the Kick tab with Facecam on, and check the site has microphone permission from the lock icon in the address bar. |
| The stream won't start | Title or category is missing. Set both with the pencil icon and try again. |
| My voice is too quiet next to game or screen audio | Raise Output volume in Facecam, or lower the other source with Kick's audio level controls. |

More about Kick
Character streams without a streaming PC
Web Go Live plus Facecam is a whole character setup in one browser: the changed voice as the mic, and the Facecam camera for a face swap or avatar in the Camera widget. Nothing is installed beyond the extension, so it runs on a laptop or a Chromebook.

Questions
Do I need OBS to use a voice changer on Kick?
No. Web Go Live takes the Facecam mic directly. You only need another route if you stream from OBS.
Can I change voices during the stream?
Yes. Pick another voice in the Facecam popup; Kick keeps the same microphone.
Does it also work when I stream to Kick from StreamYard?
Yes. StreamYard has Kick as a destination and runs in Chrome, so the Facecam mic works there too.
