First and last frame
Click + and add a start image, then add an end image in the second slot. Veo 3.1 makes the shot that gets from one to the other, on any of the three versions. The same picture at both ends gives a loop, like the lighthouse above; two different pictures give a transition: a closed flower that opens, an empty room that fills with furniture, day turning to night. Describe the motion in the prompt so Veo knows how to get there. Without an end image, the clip starts on your picture and moves freely.
Your images and videos
A start image is stored privately while the video is made and deleted when it's done, always within an hour. The video stays in your Library for 7 days, then it's deleted.

What's the difference between Veo 3.1, Fast and Lite?
All three make 4, 6 or 8 second clips at 720p or 1080p, take an end frame and speak lines. Veo 3.1 is the top quality; Fast is quicker and takes half as much of your plan or less; Lite takes the least and always has sound.
Veo 3.1 Lite or Fast: which should I pick?
Lite for the most clips with sound from your plan. Fast when you want a silent clip, or a step closer to full Veo 3.1. Both are in the Model chip on this page.
How much does Veo 3.1 cost?
It comes with every paid plan, by the clip: 4 Veo 3.1 clips of 8 seconds a month on Premium, if you use nothing else. Longer clips and higher quality take more; the tool shows what each one takes before you make it, and a clip that fails doesn't count.
How long is a Veo 3.1 video?
