Extend video length, again and again
Each run adds 7 seconds. To go longer, extend the result again: a 6 second clip becomes 13, then 20. Clips up to 20 seconds can be extended, so trim a long one to its best part first.

- End on a steady moment. A clip that stops mid-cut or on a blur is harder to continue.
- Use a wide 16:9 or tall 9:16 video at 720p or 1080p, the shapes the model makes.
- Describe the next few seconds, not the whole film: one action, one camera move.
- Keep the same style words as the original prompt if the clip came from an AI video generator.
Your files
Your clip is stored privately while it's made and deleted when it's done, always within an hour. The result stays in your Library for 7 days, then it's deleted.

Which model extends the video?
Veo 3.1 Fast. In our tests on the same clip it continued the scene as smoothly as the other extenders we tried, with realistic motion and sound.
Can I extend any video?
Wide 16:9 or tall 9:16 videos at 720p or 1080p, 2 to 20 seconds long, as MP4, MOV or WebM. Square and other shapes aren't supported.
Can I extend a video more than once?
Yes. Upload the extended video and extend it again; each run adds 7 seconds.

Does the extension have sound?
