More about this sound
About our version
Three seconds: a hard initial blast and a rumble that rolls off. It's mixed to the same loudness as the rest of our library, so it doesn't drown your voice when it plays.
On the meme board it sits next to the vine boom: the boom is for awkward reveals, the explosion for big ones.
Questions
Will the explosion clip my mic?
No. It's limited below full scale, and Facecam mixes it under your voice. If it still feels heavy, drag its pad volume down.
Can I use it in a YouTube video?
Yes. The MP3 is our own sound, made with AI for Facecam, and free to download and use in your videos.
Is there a kaboom sound?
Cartoon is the kaboom: a bouncy, comic blast in 1.6 seconds. Huge is the biggest boom on the page.
