Where does the bruh sound come from?
Bruh started as slang, a lazy "bro", and Vine-era clips turned it into a one-word reaction. The sound effect spread on YouTube around 2016 as "Bruh Sound Effect #2", then took off in 2018 with "bruh moment" memes on Reddit and Instagram, where a clip of something dumb ends on the same flat word. That is still the whole joke: no music, no build-up, one tired "bruh".
