Is Jammable Free?
Jammable lets you sign up for free, but making AI covers is part of its paid plans. We read its pricing, refund and terms pages and timed an AI cover of our own song on Facecam for comparison.

Short answer
Not really: Jammable's pricing page lists no free plan, and its AI covers come with the Basic plan, which costs $1.99 for the first month and $8.99 a month after that (checked October 11, 2026). Signing up is free. Its refund policy only covers purchases you haven't used, so once you've made a cover, the month is paid.
Jammable (once called Voicify) is one of the best-known AI cover sites: pick a voice, add a song, get it back sung by someone else. Its homepage button says "Sign up free", which is where the question comes from. Here's what the free account gets you, what the plans cost on its own pricing page, and the refund rule worth knowing before you pay.
Does Jammable have a free plan?
No free plan is listed. On October 11, 2026, Jammable's pricing page showed three paid plans, billed monthly, and no free tier. The account itself is free to create; the covers, the voices and the other features sit in the plans. We didn't make an account, so we can't tell you whether a new account gets a trial cover.
| Plan | Price | What the page lists |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | $1.99 the first month, then $8.99 a month | Unlimited AI covers, 100,000+ community voices, duets and text to speech |
| Creator | $9.99 the first month, then $24.99 a month | Everything in Basic, plus custom voice training and shareable videos |
| Power | $89.99 a month | Everything in Creator, plus priority processing (250 covers per 12 hours) and $25 of API credits a month |
What's the catch with Jammable?
Three things on Jammable's own pages are worth reading before you subscribe:
- The first-month price. $1.99 and $9.99 are for new subscribers' first month. The plan renews at $8.99 or $24.99 unless you cancel, which you can do yourself at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period.
- Refunds only if unused. The refund policy covers purchases where you haven't used any credits or made any covers, requested within 30 days. One cover and the month is spent.
- Personal use only. The terms say you own the covers you make, but that the service is for "domestic and private use" and not for any commercial or business purpose. A cover for a monetised channel is outside that.
How long does an AI cover take?
On Facecam's AI Cover Generator, our whole 2:32 ballad came back as a cover in 50 seconds. The first run of the day, a 30-second clip, took 112 seconds, because the voice had to start up first. We didn't time Jammable, since that needs an account.

The new vocals alone
AI Cover Generator is a tool that takes a song you upload and gives it back sung by a famous voice or character, over the original music. Every cover comes with a second file of the AI vocals alone, which is handy for remixing or for checking the vocal before you post.
How does Facecam's AI cover pricing compare?
Facecam's AI Cover Generator comes with the paid plans and is charged by the minute of song, with no first-month offer. The Starter plan ($10 a month) covers about 51 minutes of songs, and Premium ($20) about 171. New accounts get free tries, and a cover that fails doesn't count. Songs can be up to 10 minutes.
Where Jammable is stronger: it lists over 100,000 community voices and lets Creator subscribers train a custom voice, while Facecam's covers use its own list of voices and can't use your own voice yet. If you make many covers a month, Jammable's unlimited Basic plan can also work out cheaper than paying by the minute.
What are the alternatives to Jammable?
- Facecam's AI Cover Generator for covers in famous voices and characters, paid by the minute, with the vocals as a separate file.
- Facecam's Vocal Remover if you only want the instrumental or the acapella of a song: it splits a song into its vocals and its instrumental and gives you both as MP3s.
- Facecam's Voice Clone to hear text in your own voice. It's built for speech, not singing: we tested that in can a voice clone sing.
What didn't we check?
- Jammable's app and covers. We didn't make an account, so we didn't hear Jammable's voices or time its covers.
- Prices in other countries. We read the US prices; Jammable may show other prices or taxes elsewhere.
- Changes after October 11, 2026. Jammable's plans and first-month offers change; check its pricing page before you buy.
